Bagpipes add decorum and reverence to any event.  I am available to play any of the following types of events:

Weddings
Funerals
Memorials

If you're looking for a warmer indoor sound and the Great Highland Bagpipes are too loud, I also play the Scottish Small Pipes or Ceilidh (Kay-lee) pipes.  These pipes provide a rich warm sound that can be accompanied by guitar, piano, harp or really any other instrument.  


For events that occur inside and out, I will play both types of bagpipes as is appropriate for your request.

(When should the piper play?)

Weddings:

• As guests arrive 15-20 minutes before ceremony
• As family enters
• As groom enters (upbeat, masculine tunes)
• As bridal party enters (slow aire, Air on G, on smallpipes)
• As bride enters (Highland Cathedral, Wedding March, Ode to Joy)
• During unity candle or as interlude (Smallpipes)
• As bride and groom exit (Upbeat - Highland Cathedral, Ode to Joy, Scotland the Brave)

Funerals/Memorials

• As guests arrive (Slow aire to set the tone)
• Taking the casket out to the hearse
• Graveside
• Playing while mourners leave the service or graveside

Golf
Great for golf tournaments 
(...it is a Scottish game!)

• Playing as the guests and players arrive and get ready to tee off
• After the 18th hole walking over the course to the clubhouse as players

Pricing

Rates for playing any event vary with the location, type of event, and the duration of the event.  If bagpipes are desired for one event with multiple locations the rate will also vary.

For any event a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.  Payment in full is required 10 days prior to the event.

Cancellations: If an emergency arises and I am not able to play for your event, I will find a replacement for you.  In the unlikely scenario where this is not possible, I will refund your payment in full.
